Found my name on the web!

It's rewarding when others link to your work!

One of the coolest things about being a fiction writer, or any kind of writer, on the internet is finding new links to your writing. It's nice to see your words matter.

So far, I've found links to articles that I've written for this site from some of the oddest places. One site with the word "shampoo" in the title.

But tonight, it was pretty cool to find a mention and praise of a book review that I wrote for the Reading Site on BellaOnline on the blog the Novelist in Paradise. The review in question focused on the author's Young Adult Novel, The Killing Sea. Check it out!

Come on! You know you Google yourself too! If you write fiction or non-fiction, you want to see if your stuff is out there, floating around in cyber space. You want to see if people value what you write. You want to see if your words are appreciated. Of course you do, because you are a writer!

It's not vanity, really. It is done in the hopes of appeasing the muse with some mane-stoking in luei of a virginal sacrifice. Let's hope it works!
